This Keepsake Box was made from recycled wood from past projects. Past failures return to show the growth of craftsmanship that only comes from practice and intention.

The Maple comes from my first piece of furniture. A media cabinet inspired by my family history with music and with carpentry. The figuring and curls are reminiscent of electric guitar’s and show my personal connection with the instrument.

The Walnut pieces are cut from a failed first attempt at hand cut dovetails. A past failure reborn into a beautiful statement of contrast to the Curled Maple.
